Quentin Tarantino and Rita Ora Shine On
It was filmmaker Quentin Tarantino’s time to shine as he was honored at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art along with artist Barbara Kruger. “If anybody should be representing art and film, it’s the city of Los Angeles,” said Tarantino. “For a long time Paris has been ahead of us and I think we’re finally catching up,” he continued. The event raised close to USD 4 million and was attended by big names in Hollywood including, reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her husband rapper Kanye West, singer Jennifer Lopez, British actor Eddie Redmayne, actors Jamie Foxx, Will Ferrell, and Don Johnson, who was accompanied by his daughter Dakota Johnson, actresses Amy Adams, Evan Rachel Wood, Kirsten Dunst, Salma Hayek, Demi Moore, British model Cara Delevingne, and popular singer Selena Gomez.
Christmas arrived in London with Rita Ora switching on the traditional annual Christmas lights at Westfield London Shopping Centre. She gave a live performance for the occasion while debuting her new pink bob haircut. “Well for me it’s my first release worldwide so I’ve put a lot of effort into this record because it’s almost like I have to make sure it’s right for me,” she said as she spoke about her forthcoming album. “So everything from the features, everything has been hand picked by me and I’ve got some incredible surprise features on there,” she later revealed.
