Indiana Jones Reboot Boots Ford and Hires Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt, everyone’s favorite funny guy from the hit television series, Parks and Recreation, is trying to get into Harrison Ford’s sacred hat. The Holy Grail of Ford’s career might be forfeited to the slapstick comedian. Pratt’s Homer Simpson-style of acting could be good for a laugh, but we are still worried; does Pratt even look good in a hat?

The first Indiana Jones outing was back in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark. The second installment in the series was in 1984 with The Temple of Doom, where Steven Spielberg dropped the ball. Masses were baffled as to why he included the small Chinese boy that wore the Yankees cap and demanded that everyone call Harrison Ford ‘Dr. Jones’. Spielberg recovered from the mistake five years later with The Last Crusade. Harrison Ford’s last chapter as Indiana Jones was in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008. We all know what a catastrophe that was, but if history tells us anything, there is still a chance for a recovery. According to the past, with every lousy Indiana Jones movie there is an equal and oppositely good one. Indiana Jones has had a hell of a run, but with their hiccup back in 2008, it’s time to reboot this series.

Pratt isn’t known for playing a genius by any means, so let’s hope that he at least looks good in a hat.
