THE WHITE MUSEUM
The White Museum is the brainchild of Tonino Cacace after years of dedicated research and experimentation. His inner research regards everything that is "best" just as artists do, and be able to appreciate and choose the materials, the places as well as the most suitable arrangement for their artwork. Mr Cacace began going to galleries and discovering artists, art became a passion he wanted to share not for use in the private rooms but all of the hotel to enjoy. Mr Cacace created a true art hotel where the main character was the expression of the artists, creating a bright and spacious art studio.

VILLA SAN MICHELE
The Villa San Michele was built around the turn of the 20th century on the island of Capri by Axel Munthe. The villa's gardens have panoramic views of the town of Capri, the harbour and Mount Vesuvius as it sits between Anacapri and Capri at a height of 327 meters above sea level. Munthe first came to Capri in 1885 and built the villa on the ruins of an ancient Chapel dedicated to San Michele, following a series of sketches made on a wall. San Michele's gardens are adorned with many relics and works of art and has its story recorded by Munthe – The story of San Michele published originally in 1929.
"My house must be open to the sun, to the wind, and the voice of the sea, just like a Greek temple, and light, light, light everywhere!" - Axel Munthe
